Trail Show- Missing Horse Camp

Filed Under Mustang Training Blog | Leave a Comment

This is the first year in 8 years I didn’t make the trip to Idaho for horse camp, and I really missed the kids, and the families. I missed the teaching those youth and the challenge of new kids, new horses and new situations. But, I don’t let things sit ideal, I am in Baker for the Easter Slope Trail Show and WOW what a great course and riders. It was dun today judging in the rain and yet I have nothing more I would rather be doing than judging. I am here for the weekend and can’t wait to Saturday with the open riders and the pros and non pros. It should be awesome.

Lifes major wonders

I really wonder how we got to this place in the world. I have a so many questions about the world in which I live, but I really how we got to the place where people want a $5000 horse for $2500 but then they don’t want to pay for it either. Is it me that people think they can push or is it the industry?
My daughter is trying out for Miss Rodeo Oregon Sweetheart and she is loving the photos, and looking pretty saddly they don’t get to ride, and she is sad but she is getting her dress and I think it will be PINK her favorite color. I would want a purple one.

I miss my kids when they are gone more than ever before, I think it cause I worry about them.  Judging is fun and I love my job  but I am ready to be able to take the kids with me. I  have enjoyed the chances to ride with friends, and spend time with my family and friends. Change it good, so if life ever hands you a SHOCK of a lifetime, make it good for you and the rest of the world in which you live.  I know that the ranch, horses, and us as the people we are better and offering you more for your buck and your day!

Zyban is a is an antidepressant medicine that has been found to aid in the stopping of smoking. Zyban is used to help people stop smoking by reducing cravings and other withdrawal effects. More Information…Talking to a lady that I grew up knowing of her success and love for horses. I heard her telling me she is no longer doing it. She said that if anyone survives this horse market will be doing great. Well, I am holding in there. I am still planning on gelding Jigalow this summer, and he will become a super riding horse. He has out produced himself this year with super foals on the ground lots of color and we have bred him many mare this year. I even gave him one of Chex’s mare- Fancy. We will only have two foals next year. So, the foal crop is going to be limited. Chex is not real happy with mom either. I will reach my goal of 12 horses by winter, I will really reach that for my families sake. The kids need me and I need to be able to have enough money and time for the kids not the horses. I have five foals this year to find homes and I have decided to discount them all for the summer months so until August 23rd (being the kids end of summer) I the foals are being offered for sale for $750 which is the breeding fees, I really want to reach my goal. I have said good bye to so many GREAT horses since this all started.

The world has seen that Pepsi will not be having any more babies, I am sad to say that she is confirmed with cancer and so I am going to let her hopefully get through the summer and raising her palomino filly. And then she will be laid to rest next to Lena in the back field.

WOW what a great crop of training horses and clients! I have Chico who really challenged me and his owner in choices and I really wanted to make the his life better. And then Tucker, well he gave me a respect for a horse making me ask him JUST right EACH time! Lamar- came back for a tune up and I have given his owners bad news that somewhere order generic viagra buy viagra order levitra buy viagra professional since he was here last time as a three year old he is now 6 he has broke his shoulder and so his time with me is almost done. Charlie- BIG beautiful bay AQHA gelding- he is for sale by owner and is still in training and I really like this horses mind and talent. He is FAST would make a great barrel horse. And then there is Now a new mare in the training pen- Coyote, she is pretty but boy she acts like a woman! I am sure that will make the boys happy, she is a challenge. I will keep you up to date on her. I have had around 10 horses in training since April and I am still not getting my horses trained. I WILL one is actually at the house and being worked with.

Breeding season is almost done and WOW I have enjoyed working with my boys, the mares that have come from far and near to breed. I am ready for foaling season for all the owners.
